About the Role
As a legal assistant on our team, you’ll handle complex tasks critical to the success of our law offices. You’ll provide administrative support to our attorneys through preparation of legal documents and correspondences, such as motions and pleadings. You’ll also manage attorney calendars, coordinate examinations for defense experts, and communicate with clients. Additionally, you’ll maintain files, answer phone calls, propound discovery, and perform other administrative duties.

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of 1 year legal work experience in a business or legal environment supporting a professional team
- Insurance defense or personal injury experience preferred
- Time management and organizational skills required to provide support to a large group of professionals
- Typing skills with special attention to grammar and accuracy
- Able to work independently while maintaining highly confidential information
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills

Pay
- Legal Assistant I: $26.49 - $29.43/hour
- Legal Assistant II: $29.25 - $32.50/hour
Schedule
This is a hybrid position with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training. Candidates must reside within a reasonable driving distance of the office they support.
