About the role
This is a unique opportunity to join as one of our first legal assistants, shaping the office’s culture, practices, and impact from day one while representing a trusted industry leader.
Responsibilities
- Handle tasks critical to the success of our law offices, such as preparing legal documents and correspondences, managing attorney calendars, coordinating examinations for defense experts, and communicating with clients.
- Maintain files, answer phone calls, and propound discovery, including serving client discovery.
- Occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher and a minimum of two years legal work experience in a business or legal environment supporting a professional team.
- Insurance defense or personal injury experience working in a law firm.
- Time management and organizational skills required to provide support to a large group of professionals.
- Typing skills with special attention to grammar and accuracy.
- Able to work independently while maintaining highly confidential information.
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
An ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience and an understanding of legal terminology.

- Experience in a legal environment supporting a professional team.
- Insurance defense or personal injury experience.

Pay
$29.58 - $32.50/hour
Schedule
This is a hybrid position with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training.
Benefits
- Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
