What You'll Do
- Prepare, review, and submit a variety of corporate filings, including Articles of Incorporation/Organization, amendments, annual reports, mergers, dissolutions, reinstatements, and related documents.
- Cook up with state agencies, vendors, and clients to process corporate filings and retrieve public records.
- Obtain certificates of status, conduct business name availability searches, track filings, and retrieve corporate documents.
- Process Registered Agent mail, Virtual Office mail, and Service of Process (SOP) documents.
- Maintain accurate records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Communicate professionally with clients, government agencies, and internal teams regarding filing status and documentation.
- Aid in the training of new team members and support additional client services functions as needed.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with Registered Agent Services and/or corporate mail processing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
Preferred Backgrounds
- Business incorporation or corporate filing experience.
- Legal industry experience.
- Mailroom, legal file clerk, records management, or notary background.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience working in a multi-location or corporate environment.
