Legal Assistant
Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and perform analysis to support the DARPA Office of General Counsel.
Provide advice to DARPA offices regarding legal matters within the scope of the DARPA mission.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or JD with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience preparing briefs and other written correspondence, developing Excel spreadsheets, and coordinating meetings
- Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research and draft legal documents
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and proficiency with modern PC systems and tools
- With or without assistance, performs recurring work assignments of varying degree of difficulty and complexity
- Active Secret clearance, or desired with 1+ year of professional law experience or superior law student work
- Active TS/SCI clearance, or DoW experience preferred
- Experience in federal procurement law, intellectual property, and/or Government ethics
- A detailed knowledge of DoW report formats and forms
