Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive litigation support to multiple attorneys, managing heavy and complex caseloads.
- Prepare, revise, proofread, and format pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and correspondence in compliance with applicable court rules.
- Prepare, submit, and track travel and expense reimbursements.
- Aid in discovery and trial support, including document production, exhibit preparation, and court filings.
- Support scanning, photocopying, and binder preparation as needed.
- Create and maintain filing systems and databases in compliance with office policies to ensure accurate and efficient data retrieval.
- Maintain and monitor litigation calendars, including deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial dates.
- Maintain attorney schedules and calendars.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, Paralegal Certificate or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of prior work experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or related role in litigation.
- Prior experience in ERISA defense litigation.
- Strong knowledge of State and Federal court rules and procedures.
- Advanced Word skills, including creating tables, bookmarking, and styling documents.
- Strong proofreading and editing abilities, with a focus on accuracy and grammar.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with attorneys and co-workers.
- Class Action and trial experience is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat, Odyssey, Pacer and ECF Filing Systems.
- Previous iManage experience preferred but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

Pay
Salary based on experience and included exceptional benefit package.
Schedule
Full-time, M-F with the possibility of some overtime. After 90 days of training, employees may be eligible for hybrid work.
