About the role
This is a newly created position supporting 2-3 attorneys in a fast-paced general liability and workers' compensation defense practice. This role is strictly in-office and offers the opportunity to grow within a collaborative and highly regarded litigation team.
Responsibilities
- Providing paralegal support to 2-3 attorneys across GL and WC matters
- Managing case files, pleadings, correspondence, and document organization
- Aiding with discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and document requests
- Drafting, proofreading, and filing legal documents and correspondence
- Coinciding with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of in-office paralegal experience in general liability or workers' compensation defense (2+ years preferred)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, or equivalent certification preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
- iManage experience a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume litigation environment
