About the Role
The Legal Assistant will support attorneys by managing their calendars, scheduling, preparing legal documents, coordinating meetings, depositions, and mediations, and electronically filing documents in both federal and state courts.
Responsibilities
- Managing attorney’s calendars.
- Scheduling.
- Preparing legal documents.
- Cooking meetings, depositions, and mediations.
- Electronic filing of legal documents in both Federal and State Courts.
Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and multitask with time-sensitive work.
- Proactive and highly professional attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly with clients and staff.
- Three or more years of legal experience, with insurance defense experience preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain a positive attitude. They should also possess strong communication and organizational skills, along with proficiency in using relevant software.
