We’re seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant (Floater) to work at a leading New England-based law firm in Woburn, MA.

Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to assigned attorneys and paralegals, including drafting client correspondence, fielding client phone calls, coordinating appointments, and managing calendars.
- Perform highly technical document production, including typing, drafting, editing, redlining, converting documents from PDF to Word, scanning, assembling closing binders, and making copies.
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and format; file documents and emails in the firm’s electronic document management system.
- Distribute correspondence via email or hard copy and maintain files and client documentation.
- Utilize strong communication skills to ensure clarity of instructions and completion of tasks while maintaining a courteous and service-oriented demeanor.
- Input time entries, open new client/matter numbers, conduct conflict checks, and answer telephone calls with professionalism.
- Backup team members by providing administrative support to other attorneys, paralegals, and the reception desk as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of legal administrative experience.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, basic legal procedures, and law firm document protocols.
- Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Pay
$60,000 - $80,000 annually
