This is a busy but supportive office where employees work closely with attorneys and have the opportunity to develop a broad range of legal administrative skills. Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Admin Assistant to provide administrative and litigation support to a small team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will have strong law firm experience, familiarity with litigation procedures and court filings, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys while developing a broad understanding of legal operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to approximately 2-3 attorneys.Prepare, organize, and maintain litigation-related documents, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal materials.Complete electronic filings with state and federal courts while following applicable court requirements and procedures.Monitor calendars, deadlines, court dates, meetings, and other time-sensitive matters.Coordinate meetings and maintain organized communication with attorneys, clients, vendors, and other parties.Manage and organize electronic documents using document management systems.Assist with legal correspondence, document preparation, and other written materials.Provide support with basic settlement and accounting-related tasks, including calculating fees and distributing funds. Training will be provided.Proactively manage daily priorities and follow through on time-sensitive requests.Support attorneys and the broader legal team as needed in a busy office environment. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience within a law firm; 5+ years is preferred.Experience supporting litigation matters and familiarity with litigation procedures.Demonstrated experience preparing and submitting electronic filings in state and federal courts.Knowledge of court rules, filing requirements, and litigation deadlines.Experience working with litigation documents, pleadings, and docketing-related responsibilities.Multi-state litigation experience is preferred, particularly experience involving California matters.Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office.Experience with Law Toolbox or similar calendaring/deadline management platforms.Familiarity with NetDocuments, Centerbase, or comparable legal technology platforms is preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent organization and attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.Associate or bachelor's degree is preferred, though equivalent legal experience may be considered.
