About the role

Legacy of St. Michael Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Health Services to join their dynamic team in St. Michael, MN. The community offers a range of living options including Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with overseeing the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.
• Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.
• Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.
• Absorb oversight of the provision of orientation and training and retain qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.
• Evaluate current and potential residents to determine and maintain facility’s ability to provide the appropriate level of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• A minimum of two years’ management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.
• Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.
• Must possess advanced computer skills.

Pay

$33.65 - $48.07 per hour, depending on experience

Schedule

Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm, Manager on Duty Rotation!
