Replimune Group, Inc., headquartered in Woburn, MA, was founded in 2015 to transform cancer treatment by pioneering the development of a novel portfolio of oncolytic immunotherapies. Our proprietary RPx platform is based on a potent HSV-1 backbone designed to maximize immunogenic cell death and induce a systemic anti-tumor immune response. The RPx product candidates are expected to be synergistic with most established and experimental cancer treatment modalities.
About the Role
The Senior Director of Patient Support Services will report to the Executive Director of Market Access and Value. This leader will be responsible for leading strategy, operations, and managing patient support services to ensure access supporting the launch and growth of Replimune products. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional partners and external vendors to implement services that ensure seamless patient access to Replimune products.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, and execute patient support services strategy to ensure an effective, efficient patient journey aligned with brand and market access strategy.
- Serve as the operational lead for launch readiness and ongoing execution by identifying access barriers and leading cross-functional issue resolution.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership across Market Access, Sales, and Marketing to ensure a seamless and high-impact customer experience and execution of business strategy.
- Establish compliant oversight across Hub Services and all patient-facing operations in partnership with Legal, Compliance, and Medical Affairs.
- Define KPIs, dashboards, and conduct business analysis to drive performance, transparency, and continuous improvement across programs and operations.
- Define the patient treatment journey, operational workflows, and identify medical care model requirements to support reimbursement, copay assistance programs, and other patient assistance programs.
- Create and maintain HUB SOPs, business rules, and related program documentation to ensure compliance.
- Utilize data, insights, and feedback from patients and customers to continually optimize support services and offerings.
- Manage program and HUB vendor performance as defined by KPIs, ensuring compliance requirements are met across all programs.
- Conduct RFPs, analyze submissions, and provide recommendations for patient support services HUB vendors and future program enhancements.
- Collaborate with Account Teams to ensure competency in payer policies and clinical criteria supporting access knowledge.
- Build field-facing tools focused on the patient journey, developing a patient-focused approach with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize patient support and distribution data to identify and measure successful support program metrics.
- Develop and manage budgets.
- Assess the marketplace to identify successful patient access advances and share best practices with internal stakeholders.
- Use key performance metrics to evaluate gaps and areas of advancement in patient support services.
- Undertake various responsibilities outside of area of expertise as opportunities arise.
- Develop and execute training content as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; BSN, RPh, Pharm D, or MBA a plus.
- 10+ years of biotech/pharma experience with 5+ years managing patient support services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to drive consensus.
- Experience in all reimbursement models, with oncology preferred.
- Knowledge of and extensive experience with commercial and government payer policy development, execution, and management.
- Knowledge of and experience with patient services compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute RFPs.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence internal and external decision-makers.
- Deep understanding of the development and execution of performance and operational indicators of success (KPIs).
- Experience in developing and managing vendors and internal budgets.
- Strong background in pharma data platforms.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience in influence management across internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment with high expectations and accountability for deliverables.
Pay
The anticipated base pay range for this role is $253,000–$327,500. The exact base pay offered will depend on qualifications, skills, experience, and organizational needs. In addition to base pay, the selected candidate will be eligible for an annual performance incentive bonus, new hire equity, and ongoing performance-based equity.
