Legacy of Farmington Senior Living is seeking an Executive Director to join their growing team. The position is based at 22300 Denmark Avenue, Farmington, MN 55024.

Schedule

1.0 FTE, Full-Time / Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (MOD rotation)

Position Duties & Responsibilities

• Makes sure each department's activities are monitored, policies are communicated, performance is evaluated, feedback is provided, assistance is offered, and coaching and discipline are conducted as needed.
• Creates an environment that encourages creative thinking, problem-solving, and empowerment among the facility management team.
• Oversees regular rounds to check on nursing care delivery, support department operations, facility cleanliness and appearance, staff morale, and resident needs.
• Maintains compliance with employment laws, company policies, and practices that promote high morale and staff retention, including effective communication, prompt problem resolution, and a proactive work environment.
• Maintains positive relationships with government regulators, residents, families, area healthcare providers, physicians, and the community at large.
• Manages facility budgets and business practices, including labor costs, payables, and receivables.
• Develops a marketing strategy for the facility that reflects service opportunities, potential market area changes, and maximizes census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues.

Qualifications

• Licensed as Assisted Living Director in the state of operation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, or related field.
• Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising.
• Passion and experience in working with memory care.
• Minimum of two years management or supervisory experience in long-term care or acute care.
