Lee Jofa Textile Design Internship

About the role

The intern position offers qualified individuals the unique opportunity to assist the Lee Jofa Product Development team in the NYC Design Studio. This role is onsite with an expected duration of up to a 3-month position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of printed and woven textiles, wallcoverings, and trimmings for high-end residential interiors.
• Find inspiration images and create mood boards.
• Create visual presentation decks of collections in Google Slides.
• Cut, check, and label first production as yardage comes in.
• Create color palettes for future textile collections.
• Curate and update the “Best Seller” wall.
• General studio organization.

Requirements

• Degree in Textile Design is preferred.
• Strong color sensibility and creativity.
• Interest in home textile design.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite is a plus.
• Self-motivated and not afraid to ask questions.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.

Pay

$17.00 per hour.
