Duties Include But Are Not Limited To
- Teach one core course of the Program - Industrial Ecology and Life Cycle Analysis - every semester.
- Deliver one to three elective courses per semester with an emphasis on sustainability topics in engineering.
- Propose at least three capstone research projects per semester in relevant areas of expertise.
- Assess and evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and support student academic progress.
- Participate as an active member in the Campus Sustainability Council and support greening the campus when or where relevant.
- Affiliate with CCNY Urban Sustainability events, communications, and commencements.
- Contribute to the Program’s student recruitment and orientation.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Energy Engineering, or Environmental Science.
- Demonstrated teaching experience, both in person and online.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Course Management Systems such as Brightspace.
- Preferred qualifications include a PhD in a relevant field by the start of employment, knowledge of current educational technologies, and experience in curriculum development and assessment.
Compensation
Salary Range: $84,202 - $95,302 commensurate with qualifications, experience, and education.
