About the role
The School of Information Studies (SOIS) at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) seeks an experienced Lecturer in Information Science & Technology. This is a 9-month instructional academic staff position (Teaching Faculty II).
Responsibilities
- Teach at the bachelor’s and master’s level in one or more of the following areas: networking, web application development (e.g., PHP), information security, data analysis, project management, machine learning applications.
- Other relevant information technology-related areas may also be considered.
- The standard teaching load will be four classes per semester.
Requirements
- Must be able to start by Fall 2023.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least three years of professional experience in IT education or industry.
- Experience teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
- Strong knowledge of relevant technologies and methodologies.
