Job Description
This post is available now, on an open ended basis. It is designed to contribute to and lead teaching across a range of programmes where anatomy is a key component primarily to medicine and science students. The individual appointed will join an enthusiastic, hard-working team led by our Regius Professor of Anatomy, Simon Parson, and will be based in the Suttie Centre, Foresterhill, a modern, purpose-built facility where Anatomy labs, office space, storage, display and other teaching spaces are located.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to and lead teaching across a range of programmes where anatomy is a key component primarily to medicine and science students
- Lead courses, programmes and functions in Anatomy to support Professor Parson
- Develop skills, lead and contribute to a range of modern teaching opportunities
- Encourage problem solving and understanding ahead of memorisation
- Utilise excellent, modern facilities including upgraded digital resources and learning spaces
Qualifications
The salary will be at the appropriate point on the Grade 7 scale for Lecturers (£47,389 - £56,535 per annum, pro rata), and Grade 8 scale for Senior Lecturers (£59,966 - £67,468 per annum, pro rata) and negotiable with placement according to qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate their right to work in the UK. This role may be eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route under the UKVI immigration rules but is dependent on factors specific to the candidate and if tradeable points can be used under the rules.
Pay
