Lecturer - School of Nursing Adult Health Department

West Virginia University School of Nursing, located in Morgantown, WV, invites applications for a part-time (0.50 FTE), twelve-month, non-tenure track Lecturer position in the Adult Health Department. This role is non-benefits eligible and reports to the department chairperson.

Responsibilities

• Clinical teaching in the BSN programs
• Additional teaching formats, including traditional classroom instruction, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching
• Advising students in the BSN program

Requirements

• Master’s degree (MSN) in nursing and one (1) year of professional nursing practice experience; or Bachelor's degree (BSN) with ten (10) years of professional nursing practice experience
• Initial appointment requires one (1) year of professional nursing practice experience
• Evidence of current experience in adult health nursing practice sufficient to demonstrate professional competence
• Unencumbered WV RN License by position start date

• Applicants with two (2) years of teaching experience in nursing are encouraged to apply
