Lecturer Pool - Marketing AY 2026/27
About the role
The Department of Marketing at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an ongoing basis for a pool of part-time lecturers. This applicant pool is used to fill short-term temporary Lecturer positions across campus, with the possibility of rehiring. Appointments may range from one day to a full semester and are filled as needed throughout the academic year. The pool is for the 2026/2027 academic year and will close effective May 31st; applicants wishing to be considered for the next academic year must apply to the new pool when it becomes available by June 15th.
Requirements
- A master's degree in business or a related discipline
- Industry experience in a finance‑related position
- Must be eligible to work in the State of California (CSU Out‑of‑State Employment Policy requires employment to be performed within California)
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree or equivalent
- Previous teaching experience
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and a commitment to serving the campus community in teaching and, as applicable, service
Pay
Salary is commensurate with degree level and experience, with an anticipated hiring range of $5,507 – $6,677 per full‑time month (Lecturer A – Academic Year classification).
Schedule
Appointments are part‑time and may last from one day to a whole semester, depending on course needs.
