Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master of Social Work (MSW). For SW 330/530 courses, prior experience teaching the course is acceptable in lieu of an MSW.
  • Two years of post-MSW practice experience.
  • Training or teaching experience relevant to the course(s) noted.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in a related field.
  • Experience with online education.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Indigenous Communities and/or other communities of color.

Position Details

This is a temporary lecturer position with availability as needed. Applications received by April 1st annually are given first consideration.

Pay

Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience. The salary ranges for the Lecturer – Academic Year Classification are as follows:

• Lecturer A: $5,507 - $6,677 per month
• Lecturer B: $6,221 - $13,224 per month
• Lecturer C: $6,825 - $14,523 per month

Appointees are typically placed at the beginning of the range. Full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries are prorated to the number of units worked and paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
