About the role

The Department of Music in the Claire Trevor School of the Arts at the University of California, Irvine seeks to fill part-time Lecturer position(s) for the 2026–2027 academic year on an “as-needed” basis. Appointments are temporary, often made just prior to the start of the term, and require availability on short notice.

Potential teaching opportunities include:

• Instrumental (Classical Strings and Piano) and Vocal Performance Ensembles
• Core academic courses and electives

Requirements

• Relevant Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Previous relevant teaching experience
