Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously improve a teaching philosophy that inspires student learning.
- Design and deliver classes, assess student learning achievements, and provide support in statistics and research methods courses.
- Use and develop educational technologies and online delivery methods for teaching.
- Maintain and develop links within the discipline industry and profession.
- Initiate curriculum development and improvement.
- Recruit and supervise high-calibre students.
- Contribute to the development of applications for competitive funding.
Requirements
- A PhD in a related discipline.
- Proven commitment to staying updated with discipline knowledge and developments.
- Experience in teaching and learning design, development, and delivery in statistics and research methods at various levels.
- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness and passion for educational excellence.
- Industry or work-integrated learning experience (desirable).
- Ability to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives.
- Demonstrated success in research with high-quality and high-impact outcomes.
- Experience interacting with the profession and industry and attracting funding for learning and teaching initiatives.
Qualifications
- PhD in a related discipline.

- Experience using and/or designing with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
