About the role

LECTURER IN SPANISH, Global Studies and Languages , to teach four Spanish language sections during the academic year, developing innovative curricular materials for Spanish language instruction, student advising, and other program duties. This position includes full benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Teach four Spanish language sections during the academic year
  • Develop innovative curricular materials for Spanish language instruction
  • Provide student advising
  • Perform other program duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Master’s Degree in either Spanish or a related field such as Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, Second Language Acquisition, or Applied Linguistics
  • Native or near-native spoken and written proficiency in Spanish and English
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching
  • Professional engagement and development

Qualifications

This is a one-year temporary appointment beginning September 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
