Lecturer in Graduate Nursing

About the role

The University of Southern Indiana invites applicants for lecturer positions in the Master’s of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing programs in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions.

Responsibilities

• Teach graduate nursing courses in the Master’s of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing programs.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of curricula.
• Maintain current knowledge of nursing research and practice.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as publishing and presenting at conferences.
• Provide clinical supervision to nursing students.
• Participate in program reviews and accreditation processes.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance educational experiences.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Doctorate Degree or a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a certification in a nurse practitioner specialty.
• An active Tennessee (TN) license, and for those eligible for a compact RN license, must apply and hold a compact RN license.

• Experience teaching graduate nursing courses.
