About the role

The University of Southern Indiana invites applicants for lecturer positions in the Master’s of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing programs in the Kinney College of Nursing and Health Professions.

Responsibilities

  • Teach graduate nursing courses in the Master’s of Nursing or Doctor of Nursing programs.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of nursing curricula.
  • Participate in program assessment and evaluation activities.
  • Maintain current knowledge of nursing research and practice trends.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Doctorate Degree or a Master’s Degree in Nursing with a certification in a nurse practitioner specialty.
  • An active Tennessee license, along with a compact RN license if eligible.

Qualifications

  • Experience teaching graduate nursing courses.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Effective teaching and learning strategies.
  • Ability to develop and implement innovative educational programs.
  • Knowledge of current nursing research and best practices.
