Key Responsibilities

  • Teach a 3-credit undergraduate course on educating learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Teach a 3-credit undergraduate course on educating learners with Low Incidence Disabilities in Spring 2027.
  • Oversee a 1-credit field experience related to the Spring 2027 course.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Experience working with learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Low Incidence Disabilities.
  • Ability to teach effectively in an academic setting.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching at the college level.
  • Knowledge of best practices in educating learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or Low Incidence Disabilities.
  • Experience with educational technology and resources relevant to special education.
