Lecturer - Human Development Pool AY 2026/27
California State University San Marcos invites applications on an ongoing basis for part-time lecturer positions in the Department of Human Development, College of Education, Health and Human Services. Appointments may range from one day to a full semester and are used to fill short-term, temporary vacancies as needed throughout the 2026/27 academic year. Applications submitted to this pool are valid only for the current academic year and will close on May 31st.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Development or a closely related field (required).
- Terminal degree in Human Development or a closely related field (preferred).
- Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community through teaching and, where applicable, service.
Per the California State University’s Out-of-State Employment Policy, employment is contingent upon working in the State of California.
Pay
Monthly salary ranges for the Lecturer – Academic Year classification:
- Lecturer A: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month
- Lecturer B: $6,221 – $13,224 per full-time month
The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, based on education and experience.
