Description
The Department of Hispanic Studies at the University of Houston invites applications for part-time Lecturer positions to teach Spanish at the undergraduate level in the areas of basic language, literature, linguistics, and culture. In addition, the Department offers specialized in Spanish for the Professions through its growing programs, medical Spanish, and education.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Spanish
- Master’s degree in Spanish may also be considered

Lecturer appointments are made on a semester basis. Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
