Description

The Center for Mexican American and Latino/a Studies (CMALS) at the University of Houston seeks applications for a part time Lecturer. This is a non-tenure track position. Courses can be offered as face-to-face instruction or as a hybrid.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to build successful relationships with student populations.
• Candidates with a doctoral degree will be given priority (undergraduate/graduate courses).
• Applicants with a Master’s degree may be considered (undergraduate courses).
• Preference will be given to candidates who hold current relevant professional credentials, have college or university teaching experience, or prior relevant industry experience.
