Lecturer - CPE, Continuing and Professional Education (Pool Posting)

About the role

The School of Education & Human Development at the University of Colorado Denver is seeking to expand its pool of Lecturers for part-time, non-tenure-track positions in Continuing and Professional Education (CPE).

Responsibilities

• Teach courses tailored to meet professional development needs.
• Engage with students in urban and diverse settings.
• Collaborate with various constituencies in an urban environment.
• Work closely with students to address campus safety issues as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant teaching or work experience in education, community, or business contexts, especially in urban and diverse settings.
• A minimum of an earned master’s degree in relevant content area (some courses may require a minimum of an earned doctoral degree).
• Experience teaching at the graduate level, teaching online or with blended/hybrid models, and experience with culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse communities.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g. MS Office).
