Description
The Construction Management Program in the Cullen College of Engineering invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track, Lecturer positions to teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Most instruction is in person on UH’s main campus in Houston and may include daytime or evening sections, depending on program needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver syllabi and course content aligned with program learning outcomes and current industry practice
- Design assignments and assessments; submit grades in a timely manner
- Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to students; hold regular office hours
- Use the University’s learning management system and follow UH and Program policies and procedures
- Collaborate with the Program to support continuous improvement and student success
Minimum Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field preferred
- Demonstrated, relevant industry experience in construction or a closely related sector
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior university-level teaching experience
