Description

The Construction Management Program in the Cullen College of Engineering invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track, Lecturer positions to teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Most instruction is in person on UH’s main campus in Houston and may include daytime or evening sections, depending on program needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver syllabi and course content aligned with program learning outcomes and current industry practice
  • Design assignments and assessments; submit grades in a timely manner
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to students; hold regular office hours
  • Use the University’s learning management system and follow UH and Program policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with the Program to support continuous improvement and student success

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field preferred
  • Demonstrated, relevant industry experience in construction or a closely related sector

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior university-level teaching experience
