About the role

The College of Business Administration at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach Business 300 at our Temecula Mount San Jacinto College site: Business Professional Development, one of our Signature Programs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate interactive lessons on career exploration, soft skill development, and job search strategies.
• Increase students' career confidence through professional engagement and industry knowledge.
• Teach large group discussions and/or conduct workshops.
• Utilize technology such as video conferencing, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn.
• Able to adapt and engage in continuous learning and development.

Requirements

• A master's degree in business or related discipline.
• At least 8 years of active current industry experience in business, management, and/or career development.
• Ability to facilitate large group discussions and/or teaching/workshop experience.
• Proficiency in using technology including video conferencing, Microsoft Office, and LinkedIn.
• Willingness to adapt and engage in continuous learning and development.

Preferred qualifications

• A doctorate or equivalent.
• Professionally engaged through professional association affiliations and/or consulting services.
• Previous teaching and coaching experience.
• Demonstrated intercultural competence and commitment to serving the campus community.

Pay

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $5,507 - $6,677 per full-time month
