Responsibilities
- Program Administration: Administer and manage various leave programs, including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), short-term and long-term disability, PLOA, and other leave policies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws, including FMLA, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
- Case Management: Provide comprehensive case management for leave requests, including tracking documentation, monitoring leave status, coordinating return-to-work plans, and monitoring third-party vendor compliance.
- Employee Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave inquiries, providing guidance on policies, documentation requirements, and the leave process.
- Collaboration: Work closely with HR, management, and external vendors to facilitate leave processes and ensure smooth operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of leave requests and ensure proper documentation is collected and stored in compliance with privacy regulations.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in HR, benefits administration, or leave management is preferred, with specific knowledge of FMLA and ADA regulations.
