Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track employee leave information using ADP and prepare reporting metrics.
- Oversee FMLA leave administration from initial notice through return to work.
- Communicate with employees regarding their leave responsibilities and necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with HR and managers to determine leave eligibility and support operational improvements.
- Advise on the interaction of leave laws with paid time off and disability benefits.
- Facilitate the return-to-work process for employees after extended leave.
- Maintain compliance with legal requirements and ensure confidentiality of medical documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to LOA Specialists and educate stakeholders on leave policies.
Requirements
- 2 years of human resource experience preferred.
- Strong experience in Leave.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field required.
- Relevant experience with Union employees.
- Stakeholder Management.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Completion of specialized certification or training on FMLA/leave administration a plus.
