Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• 2. Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement.
• Experience as a middle school teacher is preferred.
• ESL endorsement is preferred.

District Information

District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information

• Substitute teachers earn $165 per day if they hold an Illinois PEL and $155 per day if the hold a substitute license.
• Annual bonuses are given based on the number of days worked.
• This position does not include benefits.

Selection Procedure
