About the role

Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. This role involves performing all sales and leasing activities to achieve the community's revenue and occupancy goals.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, credit screen, and perform criminal background checks.
  • Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins, and address any outstanding maintenance items with the maintenance team.
  • Stay informed about market and competitor conditions, develop and implement marketing plans, and follow policies related to concessions and special programs.
  • Create and execute marketing activities, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, and use internet marketing tools like Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
  • Track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident data, and ensure show units meet quality standards.
  • Follow up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, send thank-you notes, and make calls or contacts to finalize leases and renewals.
  • Support lease renewal programs by preparing letters and packages, meeting with renewing residents, and ensuring timely implementation of lease renewal documents.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to resident and client inquiries, take prompt action to solve problems, and document and convey resident or other requests to appropriate individuals.

Requirements

Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions, and a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

Physical Demands

  • Stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
  • Work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
  • Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty-five (25) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance.
  • Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations.
  • Work a flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Schedule

Monday- Friday with Saturdays and a rotating weekday off.
