About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform offering property management, investment management, development, and construction services in institutional-quality rental housing. This role is located in Hudson House East, Jersey City, New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, conduct credit screenings, and perform criminal background checks.
- Prepare lease and move-in packages, ensure smooth move-ins and lease signings, and inspect apartments prior to move-in to ensure they are in move-in ready condition.
- Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy, follow community policies regarding concessions, specials, and programs, and execute marketing activities using internet marketing tools.
- Track apartment availability, record leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and ensure the community and show units meet show quality standards.
- Follow-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction, respond to resident and client/owner concerns, and take prompt action to solve problems.
- Execute lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages, meeting with and contacting renewing residents, and ensuring lease renewal documents are signed and implemented on time.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit for extended periods, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, and crawl in confined areas.
- Ability to work inside and outside in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet, and rare or regular travel to assist other properties as needed.
- Flexible work schedule, including taking "call" during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications
- Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
Skills
- Proficiency in on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of local and competitive market conditions.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00.
Schedule
Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position.
