About the role

The role combines sales, marketing, application processing, and property management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in developing and executing effective marketing strategies to boost property traffic and generate leads.
  • Maintain the leasing office, tour paths, vacant units, amenities, and overall curb appeal to ensure they are presentable.
  • Accurately and promptly complete lease applications and necessary verifications, such as tax credits and HUD paperwork.
  • Handle the lease process, including collecting deposits and rent, and inputting data into the database.
  • Support the Executive Director in preparing reports, managing resident communications, handling move-out notices, and conducting annual re-certifications.
  • Promote resident satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
  • Tackle maintenance requests and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Experience leasing LIHTC (tax credit) apartments.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing and ADA laws and standards.
  • Ability to stand and walk for most of the day, including climbing stairs.
  • Personable and tactful, with a strong background in customer service.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events and apartment showings.
