About the role
The role combines sales, marketing, application processing, and property management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Aid in developing and executing effective marketing strategies to boost property traffic and generate leads.
- Maintain the leasing office, tour paths, vacant units, amenities, and overall curb appeal to ensure they are presentable.
- Accurately and promptly complete lease applications and necessary verifications, such as tax credits and HUD paperwork.
- Handle the lease process, including collecting deposits and rent, and inputting data into the database.
- Support the Executive Director in preparing reports, managing resident communications, handling move-out notices, and conducting annual re-certifications.
- Promote resident satisfaction through exceptional customer service.
- Tackle maintenance requests and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Requirements
- Experience leasing LIHTC (tax credit) apartments.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing and ADA laws and standards.
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the day, including climbing stairs.
- Personable and tactful, with a strong background in customer service.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends for special events and apartment showings.
