Leasing & Marketing Specialist - Charlottesville, VA

About the role

MSC is a leading property management firm with properties throughout Virginia and one of The Caton Companies. We are seeking a Leasing & Marketing Specialist for our Charlottesville, Virginia main office. The role combines sales, customer service, social media, and marketing to lease apartment homes to interested prospects. You’ll work in a dynamic environment known as the "Mad House," where things can get busy and exciting.

Responsibilities

• Lease apartments through product demonstration and strategic marketing.
• Maintain high levels of resident satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of sales experience.
• Virginia Real Estate License (can be obtained during employment).
• Willingness and ability to obtain a Virginia Fair Housing Laws and Practices certificate.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance; position requires own vehicle to fulfill job functions.
• Leasing experience is a plus.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (with occasional hours 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.).
