Duties/Responsibilities

  • Understand the housing contract document and all related addendums and communicate all relative information to prospects and residents.
  • Generate new leads, schedule and conduct tours, enter data into the Property Management Software, and assist with prospect follow-up.
  • Avoid the Associate Community Manager with promoting the community via social media platforms, participating in on- and off-campus marketing events, unit assignments and placements, tracking and reporting of leasing data, metrics, and goals, assisting with email and text campaigns, maintaining a positive community environment, encouraging participation in Residence Life programs, and assisting in resolving resident concerns/conflicts.
  • Perform daily opening and closing checklists, inspect model & tour route, perform housekeeping as needed, participate in Landmark Lineup and required staff meetings, adhere and comply with corporate procedures and government laws on Fair Housing, respond to internet and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner, keep detailed activity logs in prospect and resident accounts, enter Maintenance Requests, label and log resident packages, send resident notifications, enforce community policies and procedures, assist in collecting application fees, security deposits, and other income as needed.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation schedule and perform after-hours lockouts as needed, participate in all Turn related activities including move-in & move-out days, unit inspections & trash outs, unit make readies included but not limited to cleaning, painting, & furniture placement, and assist with additional tasks as assigned by Community Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant major preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year sales and marketing experience preferred.
  • Minimum 1-year residential leasing experience preferred.
  • Locally mandated licenses/certifications strongly preferred and, in some cases, required.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Reliable and self-disciplined.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Entrata experience preferred.
  • Available to work evening and weekend hours.
  • May infrequently drive a vehicle (intrastate and interstate travel) or be subject to air travel for purposes of Company business.

Pay

The pay for this position is $22.00 per hour annually depending on a variety of factors including market factors in the geographical location where the candidate lives.
