About the Role

The Leasing & Marketing Assistant supports community event planning, engages in on- and off-campus activities, and serves prospective residents to meet goals set by the Community Manager. This role requires an outgoing personality and the ability to lead Community Ambassadors.

Reports to: Community Manager

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain model and tour route on a daily basis
  • Assist with the maintenance of property curb appeal
  • Track and report leasing data, metrics, and goals
  • Develop and execute strategies to retain residents and attract new ones
  • Create and maintain relationships with vendors
  • Organize and manage monthly resident and marketing events
  • Prepare for and execute housing fairs and other on-campus events
  • Assist with social media campaigns to maintain an active presence
  • Ensure follow-up activities for all prospective residents
  • Report on time to shifts and maintain confidentiality of client, resident, and company information
  • Adhere to Landmark Properties policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment
  • Assist in roommate placement and matching
  • Understand and communicate lease documents and addendums to prospective residents and parents
  • Participate in all move-in related activities
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Assist in maximizing revenue and occupancy
  • Collect rents, security deposits, and other income as requested
  • Operate marketing activities within the approved budget
  • Provide documentation/receipts for all company purchases
  • Co-facilitate annual Leasing Training
  • Track Leasing Ambassador performance through lease audits
  • Understand and exceed the needs and expectations of prospective residents, clients, and vendors
  • Develop a sense of community among prospective residents and staff
  • Maintain active and effective communication with prospective residents, parents, and university personnel
  • Represent the community and Landmark Properties professionally
  • Maintain a positive community environment and encourage event participation
  • Assist future residents in mediating conflicts, both proactively and reactively
  • Survey common areas regularly and report or address cleanliness concerns
  • Document and address resident behaviors that violate the law or lease agreement
  • Identify and report safety and security risks to the Community Manager
