Leasing Manager

Job Title: Leasing Manager Reports to: Property Manager Company Overview For more than 50 years, DTN has been one of Michigan's leading property management, construction, development, and ownership companies of multifamily properties. Job Summary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, achieving and exceeding monthly sales goals and contributing to the resident retention strategy. You will also lead the leasing team to achieve property goals including monthly and annual revenue projections through meeting occupancy goals. This includes hiring, training, and mentoring each team member under your leadership. Primary responsibilities include: Hire, train, and motivate leasing team to meet property leasing goalsEstablish and monitor successful achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly leasing goalsIn Property Manager’s absence, provide day to day guidance to site team and provide necessary leadership to achieve daily property goalsEstablish and monitor execution of daily, weekly, and monthly leasing tasksPartner with the DTN marketing team to establish and execute marketing and advertising campaigns, including participation in off-site marketing initiatives Lead renewal/outreach strategy and business process to maximize resident retention including campaigns, resident events, and DTN renewal processTrain and monitor leasing process including sales techniques, lead generation and management and application/lease signingCreate and present leases to future residents and renewing current residentsMaintain knowledge of your local market competition and macro market performanceHave positive and professional relations with employees, future residents, community members and current residentsUse approved technology and operating software to create, manage and convert leads to leases and manage resident needsCare for your property(s) through regular site inspections and ensure quality curb appeal Enter work orders and follow up after completion to ensure customer satisfactionOther duties/responsibilities may be assigned based on site needs Core Candidate Qualities: High school education or equivalentPreferred 2+ years of customer service and/or sales experience in management Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-taskExperience with or the ability to learn technology and operating software used at DTN communities including Yardi, Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point.
