About the Role

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of community product details, fair housing regulations, and lease policies.
  • Ensure all leasing documentation, fair housing compliance records, and resident interactions are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community data (e.g., number of units, year built, building materials, utility providers).

  • Act as the first point of contact for prospect and resident inquiries, converting queries into physical tours and escalating complex matters to management.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences to garner positive reviews.
  • Proactively identify and resolve resident issues, suggest improvements to enhance customer satisfaction, and report recommendations to the Community Manager.
  • Participate in resident after-hours events and community outreach efforts to market the desirability of the community.
  • Conduct tours for prospective residents and secure leases at a reasonable conversion rate.
  • Complete administrative tasks related to leasing and move-ins (e.g., guest card completion, lease preparation).
  • Document and potentially schedule routine service requests from residents.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in property management and CRM software (e.g., Yardi Voyager, Rent Café) to manage prospect/resident information, track interactions, schedule appointments, and generate reports.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Maintenance team and Community Manager to ensure resident needs are met promptly.
  • Take on additional work-related tasks as assigned by the Community Manager.

Requirements

  • Availability to work full-time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
  • Previous customer service experience (leasing and/or sales experience highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office (experience with Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, and CRM is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly with prospective residents.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly compensation + commission potential for new and renewed leases.
  • Health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401k retirement program with company match.
  • Paid time off, including sick leave, vacation, holidays, and your birthday.
  • Employee rent discount at any Ackermann community.
  • Career coaching and professional development opportunities.
  • Company engagement events.

Schedule

Full-time: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM.
