Pay

$21 per hour

Responsibilities

• Develop full knowledge of application information required, screening processes, and policies regarding rentals
• Play an active role in the renewal process
• Develop and maintain an ongoing resident retention program under the direction of the Property Manager
• Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently
• Maintain proper resident and property files
• Process all required administrative forms, reports, and related information efficiently and timely
• Ensure “model” apartments and target apartments are ready for show
• Maintain work areas and office in a clean and orderly manner
• Maintain awareness of the “curb appeal” of the property
• Thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications, and all community policies
• Knowledgeable of required telephone and sales techniques
• Stay informed of current market conditions
• “Shop” competitive properties and complete market updates
• Maintain a leasing closing ratio that meets Bader’s requirements
• Fully informed of current rental rates, sizes, locations, and all amenities of the property
• Participate in the marketing of the property as directed
• Operate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times
• Comply with all industry Fair Housing rules
• Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Seek educational opportunities and self-improvement for personal growth and development
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Property Manager that fall within the Leasing Consultant’s job description
