About the role
The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in the success of the community by supporting leasing activity, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents through the leasing process
- Respond to inquiries and qualify applicants in accordance with community guidelines
- Prepare lease documentation and support move-in/move-out processes
- Provide ongoing resident support and deliver high-quality customer service
- Assist with lease renewals, marketing efforts, and resident retention initiatives
- Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and the public
- Participate in team meetings and support overall property goals
Requirements
- Minimum of two years sales or leasing experience (or equivalent preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on follow-up and relationship building
- Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Basic computer and office equipment proficiency required
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse groups
- Basic math and organizational skills required
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required

Schedule
