Artesia at Lakewood Ranch Apartments in Bradenton, FL is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to serve as the property’s sales representative.

About the role

The Leasing Consultant greets prospects, professionally presents the community’s features and benefits, conducts tours, and secures lease agreements from qualified applicants. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, maintains a high-energy and friendly demeanor, and strives to make current residents feel welcome.

Responsibilities

  • Manage every aspect of the leasing process with prospective tenants.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service to future tenants and current residents.
  • Guide clients on tours, the application process, and close sales to maximize occupancy.
  • Offer additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
  • Maintain accurate records of prospective and current client history.
  • Respond to phone, email, and in-person inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Address resident concerns and requests with a positive attitude to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist the Property Manager in coordinating property maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct regular community inspections to maintain appearance and note needed repairs.
  • Assist with training on-site staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong sales and/or leasing experience.
  • High-level interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to maintain a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform entry to intermediate-level mathematical functions independently.
  • National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) certification desired.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office; typing at least 30 words per minute.
  • Yardi experience a plus.
  • Must achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interacting with prospects or residents.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends if requested.
  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA.
  • Abide by all federal, state, and local laws pertaining to apartments and property management.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $18–$20, plus bonus opportunities.
