Leasing - Associate (Mid-Level)

About the role

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, seeks a full-time Leasing Associate in their Garden City office. The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, with an emphasis on retail and office leases.
• Industrial leasing experience is a plus.
• Work with clients, large and small, from various industries across the country.
• Train and work with a rapidly expanding and nationally recognized practice.

Requirements

• Extensive experience and demonstrated success in drafting and negotiating commercial leases.
• Strong academic credentials, with 4 - 6 years of significant New York City leasing experience.
• A willingness to accept responsibility.
• Outstanding drafting, communication, client-service and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative and cross-trained in leasing, lease litigation, construction litigation, and bankruptcy.
• Hyper-responsive to clients, with excellent time-management skills.
• Admitted to the NY bar.

Pay

The expected pay range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 per year. Salary will be determined based upon education, experience, job related factors permitted by law, internal equity, and market data, including geographic pay differentials in locations where market pay differs from the national average.

Schedule

Full-time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
