About the role
The Dinerstein Companies is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Leasing Agent to join our team. As one of the nation's leading multi-family and student housing community developers, we are looking for someone who can build lasting memories with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Addressing matters involving residents and their needs.
- Wowing our customers daily and getting them to live with us.
- Managing and updating the social media efforts of the community.
- Generating and distributing social media content that engages followers.
- Following up on customers and closing sales daily.
- Greeting all guests, showing vacant apartments virtually and in person, and assisting customers with securing their perfect home.
- Making presentations to prospective residents.
- Maintaining and updating the leasing database.
- Preparing resident lease files, organizing their move-in, and negotiating renewals with existing residents.
- Assisting with marketing the property through events, social media, and employee partnerships.
- Being an advocate for existing residents and helping them renew their leases.
- Ensuring all resident service and other requests are resolved promptly.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in sales and customer service.
- Prior experience at a lease-up is desired.
- Comfortable with all aspects of social media. Yes, you will be on camera!
- A high school diploma or GED certificate.
- Must meet company background investigation, credit screening, and drug screening.
- Prior leasing experience a plus.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
