Leasing Agent

Responsibilities

• Drives leasing performance by responding to and following up on inquiries from prospective residents
• Engages with potential tenants, offering compelling insights into our housing options to encourage applications
• Skillfully negotiates lease terms and provides thorough explanations of leases and related documents to new tenants
• Performs leasing activities in accordance with applicable laws to maximize housing occupancy
• Collaborates with underwriting and leasing teams to navigate applicants through the leasing journey
• Stays informed about our company’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance and up-to-date practices

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum three (3) years of related sales or customer-facing sales experience required
• Leasing, real estate, or property management experience preferred
• A valid State Real Estate License is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required
• Outstanding communication abilities and analytical skills to solve problems effectively
• Ability to build relationships, organize tasks, and deliver top-notch customer service

Pay

The anticipated pay range/scale for this position is $25.00 Hourly. Actual starting base pay within this range will depend on factors including geographic location, education, training, skills, and relevant experience.

Additional Information

• The Company provides 9 paid holidays per year, and, upon hire, new employees will accrue paid time off (PTO) at a rate of 0.0577 hours of PTO per hour worked, up to a maximum of 120 hours per year.
