About the role

The Lease Analyst within PNC's Realty Services organization is based in Pittsburgh, PA. This role involves providing specialized lease administration and contract support for a large, diverse real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures accurate interpretation of lease terms, financial integrity, and compliance with contractual obligations across various facilities.
  • Audits rent charges, resolves discrepancies, and supports the interpretation and administration of complex real estate contracts.
  • Applies knowledge of lease structures and legal documents to abstract, analyze, and maintain accurate lease data.
  • Safeguards risk management by ensuring key financial terms, critical dates, and contractual obligations are accurately captured and monitored.
  • Prepares, reviews, and maintains lease abstracts; performs quality control checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Reviews landlord reimbursement requests for taxes, insurance, and operating expenses; investigates variances and recommends appropriate resolutions.
  • Maintains lease documentation and related workflows using multiple internal systems and reports.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for lease-related inquiries, providing accurate information and timely resolution to internal partners.

Requirements

This role requires a university/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

  • Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role.
  • Preferred skills include corporate finance, decision making, economic policy, financial accounting, financial management, investment strategies, real estate, real estate development, trading strategies.
  • Competencies include accuracy and attention to detail, business markets, contracts management & administration, contracts review, data gathering and reporting, effective communications, financial analysis, lease and property management - real estate, negotiating, real estate law & policy compliance.
  • Work experience includes roles requiring a university/college degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience, or a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience (including military service).
