Learning Support Teacher, Grade 8

About the role

The Brandywine Heights Area School District, Topton (Berks County), Pennsylvania, is currently accepting applications for a dynamic and dedicated Eighth Grade Learning Support Teacher who will facilitate student learning for academic and life-skills and develop the attitudes that contribute to the fulfillment of their potential as mature, able and responsible citizens.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate instructional activities to students
• Develop or modify curricula
• Prepare lessons and other instructional materials according to ability levels, disabilities, and impairments of students

Requirements

• PA K-12 Special Education certification required
• Secondary English certification required
• Reading Specialist and/or additional subject area certifications preferred

Schedule

Contracted full time position beginning immediately following School Board approval and completion of pre-employment requirements.

Pay
